Keep them in the Fridge
I have three of these as I get very warm in Bed and they certainly help cool me down. I disagree with the claim there is no need to put in the Fridge though. Mine are put in the Fridge in the morning and taken out and put in my bed at night. Thet don't stay cold for long but long enough to cool me down and get off to sleep. I use them if I have aches that benefit from cold treatment. At he moment I find them helpful for Planta Facillitis and in very hot weather a welcome relief from the Heat. STINKS.
So i got this product and I haven't been able to use it becuase of the disgusting smell. It doesn't smell like plastic or chemicals which I could understand and wouldn't complain about. It stinks like it's come from somewhere with lists of cats or dogs thats not kept clean, it's disgusting. I am not over ecagerating! It's that bad I had to wash the bedding it came into contact with its that bad. I've given it a wash with washing up liquid and warm water and the smell has not come out. Currently I'm soaking it in hot soapy water for a third time, it's that bad. The product didn't come in any original packaging just the bag it was delivered in.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great cooling pillow

I bought these coolers due to hot flashes I get from time to time. More especially at night. They warm up after appx 15 - 20 minutes that is why it is good to buy a couple or more, this ensures you can swap them around and by the time one is warmed up you can reach for another one which goes back to a cooler feel! Good quality product, I have kept the gel in the pillow such way that if I turn the pillow over, some part of the gel mat will still be on the other side. These are great for ladies of a certain age , when the fire within bursts to life they are great for cooling you down. You don’t have to put them in the fridge! Somehow they just stay cool all of the time. I’ve torn the cartilage in my knee and I use two of these pads to help reduce the swelling!
