FTX Kanyon
Bought this for my son. It’s great at climbing up rocky trails and banks. Standard battery lasts well and charges in 3.5hrs using the supplied charger. It’s a rock crawler (not a super fast jump truck or something) and has 2 settings on the esc, one with finer control for slow speed stuff. Lights work well and illuminate the trail ahead. Rolled it over multiple times and body shell survived surprisingly well. 8 AA batteries needed in the transmitter

this is a good all round starter crawler ? why starter because you can learn to rock crawl at a low price also if you break it the parts are ready available on eBay at the shop or on line ? and the other thing is may be you would like too up grade it with the metal parts that can also be purchased. This is where the learning part comes in so some what educational if you will. I purchased this truck a couple of weeks ago and thoroughly enjoyed it it was well worth the money and I would advise other people for a cheap truck it is well worth £150 I got mine for 125 on bidding pretty lucky and it was new so anyone out there who is thinking of getting one go-ahead a few modifications and away you go or just take it out the box and play with it for its size it’s quite astonishing but don’t worry about that it’s worth it good luck everyone

This is a really nice budget rock crawler. I would class it as almost 1/8th scale as it is so big. It is very capable with a few weak points, but like most a little upgrade and a few tweaks will go a long way.
