    Highly recommended impact gun

This impact gun is absolutely amazing value for money. I work as a heavy recovery technician, so I’m using mine every day. The last one of these I had lasted five years and I’ve only just updated it. I use it for taking truck wheel nuts off which are torqued down to 700-800nm and it never struggles. I also mainly use it for taking vehicles halfshafts out. And it has never let me down. I’ve done numerous power comparison test with snap on gun with my five year old gun against their brand new on. But Milwaukee always come out the best. The battery’s are well built and hold their charge well while not being used. The charging system is quick and efficient and well does what it says on the tin. The hard case is of a high quality and is laid out very well. Overall don’t be put off because it isn’t SNAP ON or MAC tools, don’t be put off because it doesn’t cost an absolute fortune. It’s a VERY good deal and you will be surprised.

  • Most critical review

Not as good as the reviews suggest

It’s ok until you get to a stubborn wheel bolt. This Milwaukee does 8 out of 10 wheel bolts but for the other 2 out of ten need to use a breaker bar because the high torque (which advertises over 1400nm) can’t remove every wheel bolt. Crappy tool and a waste of money

  • Absolutely brilliant piece of kit, worth the money on any day.

I have used Mac tools and snap on and this brand can certainly hold its head, in my opinion, above the others. Comes with a great case but the only downside is when you put on the accessory protection boot, it doesn't fit in the pre-moulded case properly and sprains the lid slightly. This said... Everything else seems great. Buy one I also bought the Shockwave sockets that fit nice inside the case. Well worth the money. Milwaukee seems a great brand.

  • Nut gun milwaukee

I run a small body, every time I took a wheel off my air gun could not cope and consequently I would use a bar ,but the shock has taken its toll on my elbow. So milwaukee nut gun and it's massive torque does the job so well and beyond,if in doubt get one brilliant..

  • Top gun...

I looked into buying a few different impact guns but this one came out as the best spec and the best value. Loads of power (hasn't failed to undo anything yet) and the torque settings mean you can do up wheelnuts, etc, then torque them correctly, rather than gunning them up so no-one this side of the planet Krypton can undo them!

  • This impact wrench is truly amazing

This impact wrench is truly amazing. I was sceptical about it's ability but just having recently dismantled a 30 year old steel structure held together with hundreds of M22 and M24 bolts I was really impressed. I only had to burn one bolt off!! Really good battery life and quick recharge time.

  • A powerhouse!

I bought this impact wrench mainly to remove some very stubborn and corroded hub nuts on an MG project car, but I've already used it on other things as well, such as my petrol lawnmower blade bolt and other suspension attachment bolts. At first, even this beast didn't shift one of the hub nuts, but it was mostly down to me not being able to hold the hub still (I'd already removed the brake caliper and carrier). Once I'd sorted a method it spun the nut off with relative ease. I'm sure I'll find many more things to undo with it. This Milwaukee M18 high torque is a powerhouse!

  • Milwaukee fuel high torque. Fhiwf 502x

Bought this to use at work as a maintenance engineer. We use dewalt de899 at the moment and this Milwaukee is slightly better. Especially the breakaway setting that drops to 750 when the nut is broken. M20 nuts no problem and I use it in some rusty dirty wet places.
