Best BBQ ever!
I've had the misfortune to buy and then have to build some rubbish in my time, so I'm a bit of a reluctant expert on these types of things. This barbecue is fantastic: the weight of the box it arrives in gives a big clue as to the quality of the materials from which it is made. All of the holes line up, which I thought wasn't allowed to happen. The pieces are very well packed and protected too. Easy to build and rigid, sturdy and expensive-looking when done. Great BBQ !!
This is a great quality BBQ at a fantastic price. Over the years I have paid twice as much for BBQs that aren't as well built as this. The fact that the charcoal grate can be set higher or lower gives good control over how well done you want your food. Great barbecue : get a mate to help build it
Every piece labelled with a number: and the instruction booklet is well laid out with every step explained. All the fixings are provided in a shrink wrap packet and labelled for ease of use. Handles, leg stops and wheels etc all come in a separate box. Start at page 1 and the booklet will walk you through it; even the spanner’s and screwdriver are supplied. 90 minutes build time? I would add 30 minutes and unpack the boxes first, lay it all out in order of need. Get a mate to help with fiddly bits like the charcoal tray lift mechanism. Bbq was well packed and arrived without any issues. Instructions are good and easy to follow - Took me (1woman) approx 1.5hrs to build. I've only used it once so far and have never cooked on a bbq before but found it easy enough to use and the food cooked really well. I like that you can lift and lower the charcoal to suit. The cast iron cooking racks remove easily to put in the dishwasher which is a bonus. The only thing I would liked to have had included is a basic guide on how to cook on it and how to use the smoker with a few easy recipe ideas.
