Great quality and power
If you’re considering purchasing this then do it. Really excellent. It appears to operate at a slightly slower rpm than the usual cabled offerings but has plenty of power to Operate smoothly and give great results. The batteries last well but it’s doing a lot of work so the 5Ah batteries are ideal. Two chargers is also really useful if you’re taming a jungle. Add in four batteries and you won’t stop. Some have said heavy, I would say reassuringly so. Fine for two handed operation (nd the safety features ensure this is the way the tool is used). Versatile, well designed and great quality
Masses of power, tackles the toughest of jobs with ease and good on the lighter jobs like box hedges too, well balanced, double cutting edges means it can cut in both directions making lighter work of big hedges. Handle is adjustable into 4 positions making it easier on the arms and wrists and product is light considering the blade length. I would suggest the shorter blade length for use in smaller gardens. A big beast that beats my petrol cutter.
I originally bought the single battery Makita hedge trimmer which is fine for light work but this one is the real beast. More powerful than my petrol Stihl, much safer than petrol, and really tackles heavy duty hedges (holly and rhododendron).
