Worth it for the price.
I haven't set up the energiser yet, hopefully will be doing so in a couple of weeks after I have put the poly wire & lead-out cable in place but first impressions are good. It was listed as used but the unit was in very good condition, the only thing I could find fault with was that half of the earth stake was missing from the box but that wasn't a problem as I have made a longer & better one anyway. Works with cats but not powerful enough for larger furries.
It was bought to discourage cats badgers and foxes from disrupting my gardening efforts. Monitored on nature trap camera, the cat sniffed it and then ran through it at speed, the badger went through it like a challenger tank! and the fox found a way over the line I had put across a steep bank. It was second hand when I bought it but came in a box and worked when OI plugged it in which is always a bonus ! trouble is I cant test it as I have been barred (corona) from getting to my paddock.
