Very nice job Autel!
I've been looking for a good drone that wasn't all iOS based while at the same time, had decent range and camera quality. Well I've found it! The Autel Evo is that and more! No restricted flight areas or downloading of your flights like it's competition. It's a new release so there will be some bugs to work out but nothing that can't be fixed with a simple update. EVO is a fantastic alternative to Mavic 2 except for API support!
Excellent photo drone, the Autel EVO has a fantastic camera. With "Mission" support recently added to the Autel Explorer app, flying a mission and rendering maps is such a simple task. Pros: + excellent 4k 60fps camera! + very stable flying, rivals Mavic 2 in every way except API support + excellent quality in batteries and construction of EVO and remote + very nicely done remote which can also be the viewer for the drone Cons: - Lack of 3rd party support for advanced projects, API has been released, so should come soon - accessories such as battery adapters and charge adapters are pricey compared to others esp DJI - lack of regional repair centers, seems DJI has frozen them out! We will update this as warranted. Attached is a 3d rendered image from an EVO Mission (lower quality than viewed in Sketchlab)

Great drone for the money.
Dont let anyone tell you that you always need the newest model to be relevant in drone photo and cinematography. Aside from using filters since the aperture is fixed it is very capable of taking top quality videos of 4k @ 60fps. Great drone and cheap compared to the other drones experts compared it to like the Evo II Pro and the mavic pro 2 (while I am envious of the hasselblad camera on the mav tho) recommend the Evo I to anyone looking for an easily affordable and portable drone that can get professional results.

Beautiful Drone
The Autel EVO is a fantastic drone ! Very high quality. I specifically bought the Autel because it can be flow with out a phone. Although the screen on remote is rather small you can see in sharp detail where you are flying. With phone you have more options for camera and intelligent flight, but for general flying, no phone needed. All around GREAT drone. Highly recommended !

What I hoped it to be.
It is the DJI alternative that I hoped for. Performance and handling is good. Max speeds are fast. Charging times are also fast. Case and transport are of great quality. The EVO is a great foldable, versatile modern drone. You will be happy with it!
This drone carries an impressive 4K60 camera! Fairly long lasting battery with very good range and speed, over 2 miles in my suburb easily. The speed is there if you want it too, over 40mph easily also. Compared to the new Mavics it's a tough call. Obviously the 1" sensor, etc. on the pro, makes for a better camera, but considering the higher price including the very expensive batteries, you really need a large budget and be a very demanding videographer.
