Excellent sharpener
As a professional Carpenter I have had used many pencil sharpeners but they either broke went blunt or didn't sharpen very good , this one is without doubt the best I have used so far , excellent quality , brilliant sharpen, great collection of shavings , also has a cover to stop the shavings falling out of the hole , this one is a stayer .

Pencil sharpener
Gives a super sharp point BUT I am finding it quite difficult to open to remove shavings Maybe it’s my arthritic hands but I think a screw top would’ve been easier. I don’t know whether it’s good value for price - I just wanted a ‘contained’ sharpener like I had many years ago at school !!

Optimal quality pencil sharpener
Good design: everything you need, nothing you don't. Well made; good fit & finish. Performs very well. Note, only the sharpener housing is aluminium; the rest is all plastic which is appropriate and keeps the price and weight down. Cannot think how I would improve the product.

A sharpener that doesn't go blunt!
Best sharpener I've found in ages. The lid it very strong so the shavings don't escape and make a mess. The actual blade is sharp and sharpens the pencils very well. Very pleased with this and worth the extra few pounds.
