Perhaps I was just unlucky...
I have used this feed for a few weeks now and, unfortunately, I have thrown most of it away... maybe the songbirds in Cheshire (robins / all types of tits / bull-finches sparrows etc. - even the blackbirds!) are too fussy, but they don’t eat it... save your money... wish I had saved mine... the description is good but - in my case at least - the product doesn’t match... This seed mix attracts so many different types of birds.
My wild birds go crazy for this food! I do add in extra mealworms although there isn’t any need. I get robins, blue tits, house sparrows, blackbirds, starlings, wood pigeons, goldfinches and much more. It’s that time of year when these birds are showing their babies where to feed and there’s nothing better watching these fluffed up tiny bundles of joy being fed by their parents from my bird table. This is the second time I have purchased this seed mix and I definitely find it attracts the most birds to my garden. Was really made up with the bird food as have found in the past it varies so much and has all sorts of bits put in it just to make up the quantity, however, found this feed to be absolutely loved by all the birds, and find it does not make any where near the mess others who have stated no mess ends up growing all sorts round the table and feeders. About the best I can find
After several brands this is about best its never left around long on bird table or in feeders. overall good quality and value but I do add extra mealworms and suet pellets to make it better and go further. only negative is some seeds are very tiny and can make quite a mess or be difficult for birds to eat. the remains are usually finished off by pigeons or doves thoe.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
