Glides smoothly; not particularly light; I did not test steam function because I do not use
I've given four stars because I haven't tested the steam function (I never use this - I just moisten the laundry with a spray bottle). The iron is quite comfortable to use; it is a bit heavier than my existing Tefal model (which stopped heating up after being dropped).
