Since Windows 95, Microsoft has released a companion suite of luxury programs with each new operating system, under the brand Microsoft Plus!. Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP boasts several enhancements to its native OS. The package offers Microsoft-designed multimedia utilities such as an MP3-to-WMA converter, voice recognition and command software, and customized, sound wave-tweaking speaker enhancement. Three games come with this edition: "Labyrinth," "Russian Square," and "HyperBowl." As in previous Microsoft Plus! releases, a number of exclusive themes and desktop enhancements are also available, including an animated dancing Munch for Windows Media Player and a 3D aquarium screen saver that looks real, even at second glance.
