Bright Lights Cover a Big Area
Have not had them in use long enough to know how long they will last. They are nice & bright green or red. There seems to be more green than red. You can choose either color or both at the same time. You can put them in motion or still mode. They can make you dizzy when in motion shining on the ground. My plan is to point them up into the trees. I don't expect the motors to last long but did not buy them for the motion option. They are bigger than expected & brighter. Turn off automatically by a daytime sensor. I plan to use a timer just to shut them off after about 5 hours. Which will require me pushing the start button when I want them on. So far I recommended them. Poor quality
I ordered five of these. One was defective right out of the box. Only the red laser would barely glow for a few minutes then completely died. After about a week or 10 days two more units failed. First the red laser went out in one unit and the green laser went out the next night on the other unit. The motor that drives the movement failed on both units about a day or two after the lasers failed. Two more are still functioning but I don't have confidence that they will still be working when put back up next season. I may just throw them all in the trash. The 3-year-old bulb head brand Star shower ones I have are still workingVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works, but inconvenient.
The quality of the product and its light display are OK, BUT, it only comes on when it's dark, and the worst thing about it, once you unplug it, or the sun comes up and it shuts itself off, you have to completely reset it again, i.e., turn on the light switches and the motion switch.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice display, a pain to use with other lights and a timer system.
The primary issue with this laser projector is that you have to press severalputtons for it to turn on once power is applied. Consequently you cannot place it in your yard hooked to your other lights and have them all come on at the same time. Once the rest of the lights are powered, you have to go to this unit and press the buttons. Cannot speak to the quality as it has only been in use three days.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not good for timer or smart plug
One of five lights has problem with the green light when first turn on. It would take about 5 mins before it can start to illuminate. If you cut off the power supply, it will reset and you will need to press each button manually before it starts to illuminate. I set up with my smart plug to turn on and off using timer along with other lights. I have to manually turn on each of these Startastic light.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good and bad

Very disappointed
I waited and waited and waited for these dancing laser lights for Christmas and I am extremely displeased. The lights do not dance at all, but even if they did it wouldn’t matter- because the first day I set them up it rained and they no longer work at all. Disappointment
I bought these last year and didn’t try turning them on until this past week. The green laser doesn’t work at all on one of them. I hooked them and the only one of the two I purchased from the same company a couple of years ago that still works, so that I could unplug them all with one plug by my door. The old one comes on, but I have to go out into the lawn and turn the two new ones on every night. No memory, have to turn it back on after timer turns it off.
