very good camera - viewing software needs improvement and blu-tooth might be better than wi-fi
Simple to set up, install and use. The 4K picture is excellent when played back from the camera direct into a 4K tv. Having GPS taking note of where you are and what speed you are doing could be a big help in an accident. The software for viewing looks great on a laptop or computer but only plays the low resolution files properly, the 4k footage freezes and stutters as I don't have an up to date laptop. A Dissapointing camera
The camera has stopped and reset itself 3 times in the first week of use. Night time images are underexposed to the point where its hardly even picking up my headlights. This was supposed to be an upgrade from my 3 year old Nextbase 412G which I will be refitting. The polarising filter does a good job of reducing reflections but a bright sky still affects the compensating auto exposure making the part of the image that is important, the road, vehicles and background, very dark, A neutral density graduated filter,like professional photographers and cine camera operators use would be of far more value Very,very disappointed with the 612.I would recommend a different model or alternative make. .Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

product arrived on time as described complete and in perfect condition I have down loaded the app to my smart phone , for wireless conectivity , but the two devices are yet to talk to each other . I will try again to rectify this matter in a few days . Totally unreliable.
So I was involved in an accident this evening and I thought all is ok given I have the dash cam to support my evidence. Went to have a look and download the files, and the files on the memory card are all corrupt. Some don't play back at all, some gave distorted visuals images. I cannot believe the very thing I invested in has let me down at the very moment I need to rely on it.
