Stylish and good user experience (see below)
I bought this used and have no regrets. The reason I got it is because you can install Replicant, which took only 5 minutes. However I did think I was getting 4G with this phone, but that was my error -- there are different Samsung Galaxy S3s and you have to be sure you know which one you're getting. If you're installing Replicant, this is the best of the currently supported phones, but there are no Replicant-supported phones that do 4G. Even though it's kind of old and doesn't support 4G, I don't go a day thinking, "gee, I wish I had 4G". Just pop in a SIM card, activate, and do your thing. Want to go overseas? Pop in another SIM. Battery life is not fantastic, but it will certainly last you all day. It's easy to open up the back, so you can replace the battery, if you have back up batteries, or swap out the SIM and SD card. It is stylish and will give you a good phone + multimedia user experience. The camera is amazing. Typing on the touchscreen isn't too cramped. The ringtone volume and vibration could be better, but perhaps I'm just getting more deaf and oblivious as I age. The speaker could at least be a bit louder so I can hear people call. There are two microphones, but I've noticed they're rather bad, so I'm not sure that having two microphones compensated for anything. In the long run, I recommend Neo900 or any GTA04+ board over this: Apart from installing Replicant on it and using it like a normal phone, you can't do much from a creative standpoint, and it's not very sustainable.
