Works, but flow is weak.
I had to guess how this unit works; the so-called instructions is some of the least meaningful gobeldygook I have aver read. There is no flow of water when working from a gravity feed, only drips which may mean that the solenoid will have to be held open for a longer time and hence battery life may be short. There is zero guidance on battery life with the unit, so it may or may not run flat while you are on holiday - time will tell.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

does what you want it to but the instruction leaflet is a joke; setting time interval/length of operation easy but instruction for setting first regular start time option not available..it works from the time you first switch it on (I think!). Poor construction but at least the hose connectors are usable
Had to lever the battery compartment out with a screwdriver as the 2 sprung loaded catches didn't work. Installed new batteries and led indicator showed intermittent random flashing before stopping altogether. Not worth the hassle of sending back for £12.99 it cost and at least the hose connectors could be used to replace the ones damaged by frost on my existing, almost identical WORKING irrigation controller.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Being so much cheaper than timers offered by hose lock I was worried. Now a week later it's working as I write. Every 12 hours it waters my greenhouse. The controls are so easy to use. Pros: Well thought out and looks watertight and fairly durable Cons: The instructions make no sense whatsoever and even though it only has two knobs we cant work out how to set it up properly.
