    Dustin-Mizer

I have used many garden dusters during my 70 years and this is without a doubt the BEST garden duster I have ever owned. I can dust a row of tomatoes and peppers fifty feet long and it takes no more than 4-5 minutes max. The dust is so fine when it comes out, it looks like a cloud that completely covers the plants with only a FRACTION of the dust I usually have to use from a can. The old pump dusters make you very tired very fast. You can use a can up easily in 3/4 of a 50 foot row if you are sprinkling from a can of vegetable dust. I used only a fourth of a can for the full row. The Dustin-Mizer is truly what it says and will pay for itself during the first year in savings on vegetable dust alone. I recommend this little jewel to anyone who grows a vegetable garden or flower bed.

  • Most critical review

A badly made prototype sold as a finished product.

This product has to be the worse item I have ever purchased. At best it’s a prototype but it’s sold as a finished product. If you pour fine powder in as instructed, it falls strait through because the mesh is too wide, and there is nothing to catch it, so it pour out. There are holes which should be sealed, just awful.

  • Easy to use. Makes quick work of a tedious job.

A great tool for applying diatomaceous earth and other insect repellents efficiently. Using the scoop on the end of the tube works great for covering the bottom of the leaves where bugs often hide.

  • Good duster at a reasonable price.

This is the best small powder duster available. Is it a good value? If you need a powder duster for bushes and tress ... yes, it is. Seems expensive, but the best available at a "reasonable" price is about all you can expect in the limited market.

  • Works like a charm

This duster puts out a lot of product at one time. The dust covers the garden and plants real nice. It's easy to use and light weight. I like it because of the spoon shaped attachment on the end of the tube easily directs the dust under the leaves.

  • When Cranky is a good thing.

Dusting is one of those things you have to do and we tried many of the alternatives. This bright yellow gadget is the only way we'll dust hereafter. It does exactly what it's supposed to do and one cannot ask for more than that. But it's plastic, you might say. Uh huh, and completely rebuildable if the need arises. A large, gloved hand doesn't fit in the handle easily, but that just means you have to take a break occasionally; a small price to pay to be able to dust tops and undersides of your vegetable. Have a problem or question and the folks who make 'em will set you straight. It will probably outlast me.

  • Every Gardner Needs One!

This is a wonderful garden duster. We had one for many, many years but when we moved we sold it in our garage sale. My husband was so disappointed we did, so I surprised him with another one. It' easy to load and will send clouds of Dipel over our cabbages and broccoli. I wish the arm was held on a little better though. But it's lightweight and easy to use. Thumbs up!!

  • New OLD Stock,very old!

New OLD Stock, very old! My 32-year-old Dustin-mizer after many years of hard use gave up the ghost, so I came here looking for a replacement and was happy to find one at this price. It works like new, but it is very old stock! So old the plastic packaging is disintegrating! I took one star off because there is no mention that it's old stock.

  • Great Duster

This thing is great for dusting tomato plants. The supplied screen is perfect for Sevin dust. The only con is that it can get tiring spinning the handle. Too bad they they don't offer a connector for a cordless drill.

The duster helps get the job done fast and helps to not waste substance that you use. I feel the price was great and will use it for quite a few years.
