  • I'm really impressed - excellent value for money

I bought the Iiyama 27” XUB2792QSU B1 on online reviews. My budget was £350 and at under £260 it seemed a risk. I needed a screen for video editing, image editing and 3D software, particularly Blender. I was told that QHD, 2560/1440, would be quite sufficient. Full marks for the reviews and advice. This screen is impressive, with bright colours that stay the same from edge to edge, corner to corner. It’s everything I hoped for, with a clear image, superb detail, excellent colour range and was easy to set up. The defaults are decent enough and adjustment easy. The stand is particularly worthy of praise, being sturdy, with sufficient adjustment, and shake free. It was well-packaged. Downsides are few. The instructions were not overwhelming in detail, but there’s an online manual. The controls are out of sight, under the screen. There is a legend on the front but they don’t quite line up. Not much of a problem as the buttons are raised. The sockets at the rear are a pain to connect to but that’s all too common with VDUs. I use external speakers so have not tried the on board ones. And that is about it for the negatives. Not, as you can see, much of a bother. One problem is that I have a dual-screen setup. The Iiyama replaced a 24” screen, and the remaining one, an HD ACER, which I was quite satisfied with, suffers in comparison. If it proves too distracting, I’ll buy another Iiyama You can also see, I hope, that I’m well satisfied with the VDU. If I’d paid nearer the top end of my budget, I’d have been happy with my purchase. Given the price I paid, I can’t praise this enough. One caveat; I have no idea if this screen is suitable for high level games. Recommended.

  • Excellent quality

I cannot complain about anything. I am a software engineer and I was looking before to buy 2 similar Dell monitors that were costing almost £100 more each, then I saw these monitors. I did some research the result was that the image quality of these iiyama monitors is better than Dell with more vibrant colours and better brightness uniformity. So I bought these instead and I am very happy with my purchase. Highly recommended.
