Works but very smelly
It's cheap and it works fine once it has fully dried. The problem is that the wax has been softened by mixing it with a powerful industrial solvent that smells like paint thinners. When applying it to a piece of furniture I quickly got a headache, and I had to open all the windows and doors and leave the room for half an hour until the smell had reduced to a tolerable level. I've used other kinds of wax polish in the past and none of them smelled like this. Also, the lid has popped open by itself several times.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Briwax - bring out the grain!
This is an excellent product to use on natural wood .It is easy to apply and brings out the wood grain, giving depth and a warm natural colour. I applied to oak which had been fine sanded, It took two Briwax applications on untreated timber, the first a generous application working into the wood and then a second lighter application..Briwax gives a natural satin finish after buffing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is the polish used when I studied cabinet making at collage. Have used others but always come back to Briwax to me it's the best.
