    You Cannot rely just on your Router for full household signal

    I've rated NOT easy to set up, only because this was pre-owned and the seller failed to tell me the password for wi-fi had been changed. Took a while to sort out via devolo cockpit on the configuration page. If you're buying new, there will be no problem at all. I have 3 wifi plugs and 5 basics, all feeding laptops, smart tv, roku's , smart bluray player in cinema room. Ring doorbell etc and they've all performed perfectly over many years. I'll also move one to an outside socket in the garden to get wifi on my phone or whatever else I or visitors may be using. All Tickety Boo !!

    Annoying Aspects of Setup

    There are aspects of the setting up and visual status of LED's that are not sufficiently described in the documentation the answers for which required a call to Devolo where the representitive admitted that the instructions have limitations. For example when a unit is plugged in on its own the connection LED flashes instead of remaining on. Only when the second module is plugged in and connected does the flashing stop.

    Devolo Wifi extender

    Whilst this product is more expensive than its competitors, it still represents excellent value. Signal strength is maintained throughout the house. It has been thoroughly reliable and there have been no problems.
