Does exactly what it says on the tin
Really good product, works well, my only concern is that the wood you are treating needs to be dry. It would have been nice if it could have been used on the sopping wet wood I had discovered. But this I had to cut away and replace with new wood. But if you are able to leave the wood to dry out then so much the better. Turns wet soppy wood into a really hard piece of usable wood. The brush you use will need to be cleaned with Brush Cleans (their suggestion) to get it clean again unless you are using an old brush you will instantly throw away as it sets the bristles rock hard. Two of the west facing corners of my summerhouse have had the rain pushed along the grooves between the tongue and groove planking where it has then remained to eventually rot off the wood. I have cut back the wet wood which was going to take a hot summer to dry it out fully and applied the wood repair to the remaining wooden stumps along with the new pieces I have inserted and glued in place. All are now solid as rocks and with a coat of water repellent and paint and new covers I have made to cover them over should outlast me. Excellent for door rot in windows and doors
Found this to be excellent for treating the sound wood areas exposed after chopping out rotten sections in soft wood doorframe and softwood window sills. Have previously used it to save old items made of plywood so it can be useful in certain kinds of restoration.
