disappointing wrist rocket
Many years ago I had several original wrist rockets made with surgical tubing. We used them for long periods of time shooting marbles and taconite pellets. We could buy replacement tubing after a while and remake the slingshot, for pennies. I've had this new model only a short time and already the bands are rotting and breaking, and the only replacement on line is a Saunders replacement for half the cost of the entire apparatus. Unless you want to spend and keep spending, don't buy this product. The bands lasted less than a month of only periodic use.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

First impression was how heavy the wristrocket was. It is very solid, not cheap plastic and appears well designed and sturdy. I highly suggest watching a few YouTube videos prior to receiving the unit so you'll be familiar with how to assemble the bands. Don't bother with anything smaller than 3/8" ammo, my first shots were with 1/4" and got no projection even with several attempts. Aiming feels a bit awkward and siting it in at first appears un-natural. Face it, this is no ordinary slingshot. However, my first shot using a marble as ammo was powerful and dead on. Once you get the feel of how it functions, it shoots hard and accurate. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that I was hoping for a bug out bag addition. Because of it's weight, not so sure if it fits that bill. However, no complaints on the quality of material, construction or ability to hit what I'm aiming at. If you are looking for a collapsible wrist rocket, the Saunders WristRocket Pro is a solid choice.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
