Improve your accuracy with the QAD Ultra-Rest HDX Drop-Away Right Hand Black Arrow Rest. With this device, you can nock an arrow, lock it into place, and remove your hand from the bowstring. The launcher is not capable of dropping away until the user releases the arrow. Once released, the Drop-Away technology immediately drops the launcher, so there's total fletching clearance for a straight flight path. Good for the price, may have to possibly deal with some issues.
Functions great, Good instructions and you can find tons on-line. Cons on this particular one sold to me ; The soft material provided to apply on the rest to keep your arrow quiet is real sad. Most will end up replacing very quickly. Plus it does not look like photo. Also, the horizontal shaft adjustment would not allow me to move it . It was seized and too tight. It took great efforts to get this part to move into the position In order to align my bow. Either incorrectly sized or erosion set in place. Good entry level drop away rest
Overall the rest works great. One thing it lacks over more expensive models is ease and/or ability to adjust it. I installed it on my bow and it works as I expected it would. The adhesive felt pads make it quiet to draw. There's a slight sound upon release as the arm springs downward... but not terribly loud. The cocking tab is located on the side opposite the arrow which is slightly awkward. It would be easier to cock if the tab were on the same side of the riser as your arrow. Setting it up as instructed in my bow manual, it was shooting perfectly tuned arrows right at the start. Rest with unexpected issue
My first impression about this rest was good - an acceptable price and, as I thought, a good quality and when you take it in your hands - it also feels like piece of solid machinery. But I faced a big "BUT" - after horizontal adjustment you need to fix that rest's part with a bolt. All magic starts when you try to make horizontal adjustment one more time later - you just can't move that part of the rest, it stucks! Now I have to make such adjustments by a rubber hammer. I'm not telling you, that all QAD rests have such issue, but I've faced it. P.S.
