Flea 2.0 USB rear cycling light.
Nice product over all. It does the job. The connector in my book is a little cheesy, since it is accomplished with a velcro strip that loops around and the way it is configured the loop doesn't give much room for the velcro to adhere. Would rather see it be a stretchy silicone plastic instead of velcro. However if you are putting this on a cycling helmet the velcro would likely be the perfect application. So depends on what you are using it for. If used as a tail light on the bike would rather see a silicone stretch application. I like the USB feature instead of using batteries. The tail light has a good bright red light. It has several modes....blinking and such. So overall.....give it a thumbs up.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I've had 9 Blackburn Fleas. They all have disappointed me; some from the start, like the one I'm reviewing here. It never charges enough to emit more

Blackburn Flea rear bike light
I really like this light for theses reasons: its small size, its rear clip allows it to be attach to a seat pack, easy to recharge the battery, its three modes of light (all on, flash, pulse flash), and the LEDs are very bright. I only use this light on occasion that I ride in the dusk or in the park where the trees shade the sunlight on the road. The LEDs light isn't bright enough to be be seen at great distances but for me I just want to provide that extra bit of driver awareness when a car comes upon me. This is the second FLEA that I've owned. The first lasted a couple of years until the non-replaceable battery would no longer take a charge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great light which is now discontinued
Love this light, my old one was 1000s of hours old and finally packed up, so I sourced this one from the States. Three modes, constant, flashing and pulsing, it easily has 3 hours of use on the latter mode if fully charged. You do have to make sure it is fully charged though, and I suspect that because this light is so old (it was brand new in packaging but because discontinued some years ago, probably been on the shelf a while) the charging may take longer. It's also versatile and will clip on a saddle bag loop so I do that and use it for commuting. Put this lite little baby on the back of my Bontrager under seat bag. Perfect height for driver to see. - Nice and bright in all conditions but not blinding. I know people see me as long as its running. Like the option of both the seat post strap and clip for switching to other bikes or things. Love the USB charging ability. Great product for the money. Bought one for a bud who was new to road biking he feels the same. Everyone should have one on their bike if they even think of touching a city or county road today. Great blinky light for running and biking!
The flea is super lightweight, durable, sweatproof, bright, and clips easily to my running shorts. It's light enough that I can even clip it to my shirt collar without it being annoying and bouncing. The only drawback is that it has its proprietary magnetic connection charger instead of having a standard micro USB port (the other side of the charger is USB-A, so it's easy to charge from a PC though). There's a velcro strap so you can lash it to your seatpost when cycling, and it's easy to clip to your jersey pocket as an alternative.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

lightweight small light

Flea rear light
