This Angled Fore Grip (AFG) by Magpul is smaller than the original. This AFG-2 can be mounted on a larger variety of railed hand guards, including many from the M1913 Picatinny family. This model AFG minimizes recoil and fatigue while increasing the precision of weapon control for both initial and follow-up shots. Not So Sure About It
The Item appears to be of quality material and well made. I replaced the "finger bump thing" insert with the flat insert (included in the box). It was an easy swap. I mounted the item on a rail that was installed on a stock M4 type barrel hand guard. Everything fits well and feels solid but I did not experience the "comfortable" feel I was expecting. My hand seemed to big for the fit and my wrist angle just didn't feel right. I'll give it a try at the range. I do think the item is a little over valued for the price I paid but I am not discouraging other shooters to consider a purchase. It just doesn't seem right for me.

AFG is GTG
I prefer a vertical grip, however due to Johnny Law the AFG is the only legal option. When the AFG is bolted up to a " Hand Gun" AR they offer a decent purchase on the weapon. Magpul is a very good USA company. The AFG is well built and should be around for a long time. BECAREFUL TO NOT BUY CONTERFIET Magpul products!!!! I purchased a Magpul MS3 sling,,, it was counterfeit and BROKE!! It was half price from the real deal and country of origin was ChiCom.

Great grip for the price
Solid polymer construct & attached to my rail with a snug fit. Seems solid and durable enough for field usage. Was worried about the fake shiny finish since the images on the site aren't great... but was pleased when it arrived, the coloration doesn't have a sheen and matches my black rifle perfectly. The A2-style finger nub was preinstalled and i trashed the A1-flat component, since i will never use it. Overall happy with the purchase and would recommend. Good quality but...

Pretty good if you don’t have large hands
For reference, my pinky tip to thumb measures about 10.5”. This grip is much too small for my hands. I’m going go try the series 1 version of this grip as it is supposed to be larger. grip angle enhancement
this is almost a have to have item for an ar type pistol . add whatever type of rail adapter that your free float needs and install this for a much better hand stop or grip adjustment that you need for comfort .Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
