Works GREAT, smells okay and is NOT greasy. LOVE it!
First let me say I was a skeptic of products like this. That said, my husband ordered another brand several months ago and while it worked well for him, it had a pasty texture and a distasteful smell. I did try it and it did work, but I didn't care for the smell. I ordered this product because in hopes it would have a better texture and smell. BOTH are true. It's much more liquidy than the first one, which means being extra careful when you open the jar, but it also means less is more. You don't need as much. The smell is somewhat similar to Vicks, but it's not strong and it fades away after a few minutes. It's not greasy either. I got it to use on my back, but I've been using it on my knees, fingers, and thumb joint areas. It works very well and seems to last quite a long time. For example, I put it on before bed and the next day I enjoyed a morning of shopping PAIN-FREE, which hasn't happened for me in a LONG time! Best working Cream we've found.
