The best of the bunch in terms of performance, design and capability.
For the DIY workshop this is the acknowledged best in class in terms of performance, design, supportability, see of maintenance and on-site portability. This purchase was the result of some detailed analysis as to my specific needs, price, performance, safety and ease of use. I even consulted several construction specialists who unanimously confirmed this was the unit to purchase and was invariably the table saw their competitors or sub-contractors preferred to use over their own preferred brand. So far it has hit every essential and desirable criteria i established before purchasing. Currently i am in the process of building an integrated table saw to further broaden its utility in my workshop. The majority of my site and workshop equipment is DeWalt and I did dither over a corded or battery powered unit in addition seriously considered cheaper alternatives, but the reputation, build quality design, performance and price won the day.
