X2 transponder by AMB
The worst thing AMB have done,was to replace the old style orange or yellow transponder with the X2, it's temperamental and fiddly! I charged it overnight and by lunchtime the following day it was completely dead, when I arrived home I recharged it left it in its box and lasted for 5 days, the next week we went to race it was fully charged and by 11.00 am all lights were out and it wouldn't work. Plugged it into a computer and yes, it started to work again! I know I'm not the only person to have problems with the x2, I'm now on the lookout for an old style transponder.
