Celestron beginners microscope
With the name Celestron I was expecting a better quality instrument. Instead it is a very lightweight piece of equipment. Not very robust. Not bad, but needs a 12 to 14 year old.
I bought this for a 10 year-old grandson, unaware from the on-line information that it was recommended for 14yrs old and up. It did require a little more attention to detail than an otherwise sensible 10 year old could provide and the focussing was "Sticky". Have put it aside until he gets older, but wish the promotional material had been more revealing.
