My American bulldog challenge
I have had mixed feelings about buying this item because people have said (RSPCA) they want them banned others say they are cruel and so the list went on.. However after watching solidK9 online videos how to control your dog and no more pulling (there are loads and loads) plus correct way to put on and use, I decided to get it... I have to say it was an instant success yes he did a flip and lunged once but he's not tried again, he has white neck hair so after his walk I dampened his neck so I could clearly see skin and No marks on him at all... I have tried harnesses figure of 8 collar half choke chain and full throat leather collar nothing and I mean none worked.. My dog is now walking to heel most of the time, not lunging to get to play with other dogs and I walk him by myself and I have arthritis... I will say I had booked a behavioural therapist to which I will honour as not till May and I truthfully believe he will not be needing this by then as I'm certain he will be able to transfer to a normal collar... Good luck to all frustrated owners of difficult stubborn strong dogs that yank you all around the roads parks blarr blarr, my dog is proof they work, and start enjoying your companion but please watch videos for the safety of your dog when purchasedVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

OMG, I was dubious about using the thing, it looks like some kind of medieval torture device, but after seeing the bloke from solid K9 on YouTube demonstrate how it worked I just had to get one. We rehomed a 4 year old Siberian Husky and his behaviour on walks was something of a challenge, getting back home with both arms still attached was a bonus. I can honestly say the Sprenger collar transformed him, almost over night, he now walks so nicely and often the lead is slack and my wife can walk him now too so it’s winner winner chicken dinner.
