The MSI Z87-G45 Intel motherboard was designed with gaming in mind. Made using Military Class 4 devices, this board stands up to the most daunting workloads for extended periods. The MSI Z87-G45 Intel motherboard is compatible with Core Processing Units that fit into the LGA-1150 socket. This allows for serious processing power and speeds. This motherboard also has space for as much as 32GB DDR3 RAM, which the user can overclock to unbelievable speeds. The MSI Z87-G45 motherboard also comes with onboard Sound Blaster audio, for gamers who care about their aural experience as well as their visual one. The MSI Z87-G45 is made from gamers who expect their system to stand up to aggressive loads, performance and scope for upgrades through overclocking and maxed settings. This gaming motherboard has an Intel LGA-1150 socket, and is compatible with Intel Celeron and Pentium processors at the least, and fourth-generation core i3, i5 or i7 Core Processing Units at the most (i.e., with the Intel Z87 Express chipset). Call on these processors to control up to 32GB of DDR3 RAM, which is distributed between four RAM slots and controlled with a dual memory channel. MSI technology allows this gaming motherboard to accommodate memory overclocking to as much as 3GHz. This is done using the OC Genie BIOS software interface. The MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard also supports Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) 600 hard drives. These Hard Disk Drives can transfer files at 6GB/s, thus reducing the risk of system slowdown due to storage transfer delays. This motherboard also has a slot for mini SATA drives, meaning it delivers Solid State Drive speeds. MSI storage management ensures smooth integrations of SATA and solid-state devices. It also supports RAID 0/1/5/10, for any data-storage configuration you may need. This board also has the ability to accommodate more than one Core Processing Unit with ease. The MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard has three PCI-E (generation 3) x16 expansion slots, and features features Killer 2200 connectivity, for lag-free streaming and connection speeds while gaming. Killer Local Area Network technology detects which data concerns gaming and which does not, and prioritizes the former while running the latter in the background. It has two USB 3.0 ports at the front and four at the rear. It also has a 2x3 block of six USB 2.0 ports at the front, and another pair at the back. The MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard also has ports for Video Graphic Array, Digital Visual Interface and High Definition Multimedia Interface for any monitor you want to use. MSI’s Command Center software also gives you enhanced control over devices such as the fan, Central Processing Unit, DRAM and BIOS.
