Not straight forward to fit a Flymo Easicut 450 Hedge Trimmer
I was only able to fit these in my Flymo Easicut 450 hedge trimmer by carefully trimming the brass connectors with a pair of side cutters. The original brushes lasted for ten years with quite heavy use so it’s too early to say how these brushes will perform over a decent length of time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fitting these into their Flymo Easicut 450 hedge cutter brush holders could be an issue. The mounting plate is too wide, and will require either edges trimming or folding in to fit. Motor running freely now. Also, one of the power leads had a broken connection inside its insulation sheath, causing intermittent running.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works with some modification
The graphite block was a bit smaller than the guide, but it still worked. The most difficult part was filing down the copper ends so they run smoothly in the guides and don’t get stuck, otherwise they may not make contact with the flat plate connector, and the motor won’t run.
