Quick service, works great
From what I have seen, everyone who has a Nissan 350z Roadster is going to need this service. You could buy a new part that has the same poor quality parts inside that will fail for $650 or get your 5th bow motor repaired here. I put the part back in and my convertible top works great. Thanks so much for the quick turn around, if you have ever had a great sports car and had to drive home with the top half open like I did, you would pay a lot more than $45 to have that never happen again. If you are on this page thinking about buying this service, you need to just pull the trigger. There are great instructions on the Internet on how to remove the 5th bow motor. If I can do it, you can do it. Just need a small flat socket set with hex heads, and a Phillips screw driver bit. Nissan messes with you by using 2 hex heads, 3 Phillips head screws to remove.Verified purchase: Yes

5th Bow Motor repair
A few years ago, I read every 350Z forums for basic faults and repairs, before deciding to buy. One common problem was the electric motor used for the 5th bow and the power windows would fail because the brushes were so soft. The repair was explained but a lot of the forum members used “Mike in Kissimmee”. The other item I learned was if you are having problems with the power convertible top “95% of the problems is the 5th bow motor”. The dealers charge up to $2000 to repair. Fast forward to the present, After the top stalled during use one day. I removed the motor and got Mike to rebuild it. Reinstalled the motor and the rebuilt motor opened and closed the top like a champ. Remember to disconnect the battery to reset the convertible top mechanism. Mike has saved Nissan owners thousands of dollars with his rebuild of the original electric motors.Verified purchase: Yes

5th bow motor repair worth every penny!
If you're having issues with your top going up and down it's the 5th bow motor 95% of the time just take it out it's very easy to do and send it to Mike and you will be so happy. I tried repairing the fifth power motor on my own from info online and it worked for about four minutes it was a waste of time and a waste of money so I purchased the repair from Mike on eBay it Took two days to get to him he repaired it the same day that he received it put it in the mail and I got it back two days later, it works perfectly thank you thank you thank you saved me a ton of money and aggravation and best of all my top works perfect!!!Verified purchase: Yes

Amazing!
My 5th Bow motor went out and was blown away by Nissan wanting upwards of $1000 to get a new one installed. After some research, I found Mike and this amazing service. The BEST!
This is the only Bright Spot since the pandemic struck! My son-in-law replaced the 5th bow motor which was repaired and the top works like a charm.
