The Roccat Kone XTD Max Customization Gaming Mouse is, just as its name suggests, a high-quality gaming mouse with seemingly endless customization options. The Roccat Kone XTD features an 8200dpi tracking laser sensor with a 1000 Hz polling rate, which gives you remarkable accuracy with no lag. The 8200dpi pro-aim laser sensor gives you a precise response that is appropriate for high-level gaming. A tracking and distance control unit inside the laser mouse automatically adjusts to the surface under your mouse. Easy-shift button duplicator technology makes the Roccat Kone XTD an excellent gaming mouse. With a secondary programmable function and options for both simple and complex commands, this mouse can handle a variety of customized controls that will make you one of the quickest players in the game. A 32-bit 72 MHz Turbo Core V2 Arm-based MCU processor gives you super-fast computing speed. The Roccat Kone XTD has a 1 millisecond response time, and a 1-5 mm lift-off distance. It has a 16-bit data channel, 30G acceleration, 10.8MP, 12000fps, and zero angle snapping and prediction. The Roccat Kone XTD gaming mouse has a total of eight buttons plus a 4D Titan scroll wheel. There are two main right and left click buttons, two buttons on the left side of the mouse for thumb access, a button just above the scroll wheel, and two below. Each of the buttons is individually programmable using the Roccat driver suite. Create your own macros, set your DPI, adjust illumination on the gaming mouse, and build up to five profiles that automatically launch when you start your favorite games. The Roccat Kone XTD has 576 KB of onboard memory to store these macros and preferences. You can customize the exterior of the Roccat Kone XTD as well. It has four configurable LED lights that run vertically along the left and right edges, and they display 33 discrete colors with numerous active effects. The Roccat Kone XTD gaming mouse connects to your computer via 1.8-meter braided USB cable. The mouse measures 7.5 cm x 4.0 cm x 13.0 cm and weighs 120 grams. Included with the Roccat Kone XTD Max accessories are four easy-to-clip-in weights that weigh five grams each. These weights can be added to the gaming mouse individually to create just the right feel for your personal preferences. The Roccat Kone XTD gaming mouse has a comfortable ergonomic design for hours of gameplay. Comfortable mouse for gaming with endless amounts of features.
I typically like a smaller mouse size for my gaming but i found that this mouse (though just a bit bigger than my norm) fits perfectly into my hand and doesn't get cramped even after long gaming sessions. You can see and feel that it is made out of high quality components and it can take a beating. On top of the already great features I listed THERE ARE MORE!!!. The software that comes with this mouse allows you to do virtually anything with its 7 additional buttons, including making macros, controlling your favorite programs, basically getting this thing to bend to your will in every way. Then there are the visual features of the mouse as well. To begin with it's a great looking mouse overall but there's more to that with its 2 RGB lighting strips on either side of the mouse which you can also program to act in any way or color you like. Excellent Mouse Loaded with Features
This mouse feels great in my hand. I have large hands, and the Kone XTD is comfortable to use for a long time. The software is initially a bit irritating to use, but after you get it figured out, it will let you do whatever you want. I have a few macros set up, things like ctrl+c and ctrl+v as well as hotkeys to lock or shut down my computer. I use the "shift" key to activate controls for the media on my computer. The RGB lighting is neat, but it is not the reason I chose this mouse. For me, it was an upgrade from a wireless mouse that was draining batteries too quickly. The Roccat Kone XTD feels solid in my hand, it seems to be durable, and it does everything it claims to do. Nice mouse, I love it.
The main reason I bought this mouse is because it has left-right tilt on a mouse wheel and that is very rare on a quality gamin mouse. I found it very comfortable and customiable in software.
