  • Ideal for small solder jobs

The tiny bottle comes with a brush attached to the lid and this makes it easy to apply. I put the bottle in a small glass to prevent it getting knocked over. Although the bottle's small the liquid goes a long way and it does the job nicely, even with low or zero lead contents solder.

  • Can't comment about SMD's but this stuff is great for fixing-up old radios

I have not actually tried it for surface mounted devices yet. However I have been using it for repairing old "tag-strip construction" radios and similar equipment. It is particularly useful for re-soldering dry or broken solder joints. Brush on a little of this stuff, apply a few millimetres or so of new solder and you have a perfect joint, in seconds. Joint is nice and shiny and there is very little residue. Unexpectedly, I find it quite useful for de-soldering too. Removing a wired potentiometer or socket is much easier if one first coats the joint s with a little of this stuff. The melted solder flows nicely up the solder sucker, leaving the joint clean and making the wire easier to remove from the hole. I only bought a 50ml bottle because I was not sure how effective it would be. But now I have used it successfully, I plan to order a larger one shortly.

  • Billiant and good value

To be honest I wasn't expecting too much from this product since most of the professionals seemed to be using paste syringes. But for the cost, I thought I would give it a try. Well I'm very impressed! Its easy to apply to very specific areas with a small artists brush, so reducing waste and clean up. Quality of joints is as good as anything I've used. Highly recommended.

  • Top Up Your Capacitors.

Works well so far on smd resistors & leds and for solder-blobbing the tops of 18650 cells. Paint on, solder and the job is done with little to no residue. Lots of the stuff for under a fiver, too. The only issue is the shape of the bottle, it's very unstable being so slim, care is needed when using just one hand.

  • Very good flux

Very good flux - makes solder flow very freely. Sticky, so take care not to spill any!

  • Wish I had found it sooner

The liquid is easy to apply and makes soldering so much easier. I also found that removal of old components was easier and cleaner.

  • Works Well

Very little or no residue after soldering, easy to brush onto boards or chips. Careful when opening initially as the container is really full. I find it works well, can be used by dipping solder wire into it and then soldering for difficult to solder items.

  • Does what it says!

Very good flux. I have been able to lower iron temperature using this. Great for SMD work. Wish I had found it sooner.
