Barrentines - the best by far
My husband, who is a carpenter of many years, put two coats on our new decking. We used clear and it has really brought out the natural features of the decking. The rain just floats on top until it evaporates. Our neighbours are extremely impressed and am sure they've been converted to such an excellent product.

Effective decking wood protection
The oil is effective in repelling water after just one coat. I give the decking two coats. This is the 2nd tin I have bought and would not use an alternative now. My only concern is regarding carriage protection as on both deliveries the cans were very badly bashed. Although the cans were not punctured, it is a wonder oil was not leaked. Some more protection for the can should be provided as I would not accept a leaking can of this product.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
