This product, made by Filter Logic, is an acceptable equivalent to the Brita Maxtra+ original.
This product, described as "Universal Limescale Water Filter Cartridge for Brita Maxtra / Plus +" is perfectly satisfactory. My previous copy has lasted 7 weeks so far, compared with the 6 weeks I usually get from an original branded Brita Maxtra+, but this has probably been due to exceptional rainfall. On balance I would judge it's performance as equivalent to the Brita Maxtra+ original. I would remark on the following deficiencies in the description of the product: (1) It is not a "Universal" cartridge; it is a specific equivalent for the Brita Maxtra+. (2) The words " / Plus" are a redundant repetition of the plus sign. (3) The words "Limescale" and "Refill" are redundant. And finally: (4) The manufacturer's name is important! The product is made by "Filter Logic". In summary, the product description should read "Water Filter Cartridge for Brita Maxtra+: Equivalent by Filter Logic.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
