Movofilms DSLR Camera Cage Rig Kit
I needed a small rig for some video work. Looking at many products on the market at various prices I decided to purchase this item. Reading the description it was difficult to see exactly the quality of the components and their make up. My research revealed that some companies used aluminium for the brackets and some, like this item used a reinforced plastic. The aluminium items coming mainly in the top price end units. The package arrive bang on time (UPS) and the tracking was good until it arrived in Portugal, with the delivery complete and tracking showing it still in Lisbon deport. Instructions for assembly were very clear in good quality plastic wallets. These rigs are very much tailored to your camera and I had to swap round a few of the rods etc to get my Nikon to fit comfortably. After a few adjustments the rig was together and proved to be suitable for my needs. The quality is good but I may in time replace some of the parts with aluminium items. However this rig is a good start if you are just, as I am getting into using DSLR for video. I would definitely recommend it and the company. For the price I don't think you could do better, just be prepared to upgrade some of the parts as a and when you need to.
