    Best ever

Had a few windbreaks but this one is the best ever! With its lightweight poles, ample guy ropes and a roof it's the most versatile wind/sun and rain shelter out there for the price

Andes Outdoor Beach Camping Shelter windbreak

I purchased this to take on holiday to Cornwall as our old windbreak was looking tatty..the main problem was keeping the wind break up..because the poles are metal you cannot knock them into the ground like wooden ones..the poles bend or the rubber caps break straight away..even in soft sand. The smallest wind lifts the shelter and rips the holding guy ropes out of the ground..7 times I had to pick this up and being a seasoned camper this is not sour grapes..this is not fit for purpose and I would not buy this or recommend it..the firm who I bought it from were extremely helpful and delivery was very fast and I put no responsibility of this product on them

  • Not suitable for sandy beaches

I am an ardent camper so knew how to assemble BUT it is definately no good for sandy beaches which is what I bought it for so I am very disappointed and it was a waste of money it took me over an hour just to fold it up to put back in the bag nightmare! my 8 berth tent took less time!! Maybe it will get used one day who knows!! Nothing to do with the seller and poor non instructions if your not a camper.

  • Rubbish waste if money

Very flimsy poles so fabric moves easy. The fabric slides down poles easy so doesn't stay up like in photo - and guide ropes doesn't stay taunt - so gave to keep tightening - awful when trying to enjoy a show

  • Complicated no instructions

This item is affordable but would not recommend for going to the beach. There was lots of polls and polls we didn’t even have a clue where they belonged. There was no instructions that didn’t help and when your down on the beach looking for a nice day out all it did was cause stress this is better suited to camping trip where the ground is firmer and polls can stick in other wise a sandy or rocky beach is hopeless.

  • Totally useless item don't waste your money!

Totally useless item. Firstly, no assembly instructions, secondly parts missing and faulty. It's is poor quality. Description of windbreak in the context of being used on a beach is totally inappropriate. Do not waste money buying this.

  • Andes windbreaker with roof

Would not recommend it was that bad I left it at camping site..No instructions and as the poles were metal it just wouldn't stay in ground, useless in sand..such a shame as it looked ideal better with wooden poles with a bit of tweaking it would be great..definitely wouldn't buy this item!!!

  • Lightweight with great features

This is a fantastic bit of kit! I used it for the first time last weekend with my micro campervan and lots of people asked me where I'd got it and were impressed with the quality and price.

  • change the main poles tyo wooden if on a beach

we do the same as below and we also change the main poles for wooden wind break poles. and we too are on a camp site. come rain or shine we sit by the fire and its great it does the job, although people are right about putting them up it can be hard if the ground is to soft, we use them as a permanent hide and have a camp fire at the caravan. can be made into a square shape with roof, I build a wooden frame, sits three people,

  • Very light weight

This is very hard to put up on your own, it also doesn't come with any instructions. I would hate to even try to put it up in a breeze. I think it would be better if you could hammer the poles into the ground really but this would not be possible as they are quite flimsy. However at the price it is being sold at I wasn't expecting a lot, so not disappointed.
