Quiet and good quality
Easy to setup, instructions do not show that the inlet and outlet pipes are connected using the coupler nut screwing away from the connector tube, this is opposite to the "U" bend pipe connection. Point to consider is the construction of your glass aquarium, Mine has a rock face backdrop built into the rear of the aquarium.The "U" bends were a tight fit over this and the glass back of the aquarium.

Great External Filter
This item was to replace an existing EFX 200 which started leaking and flooding part of my lounge. The new unit is quiet and efficient with an increased water flow. Would recommend as no problems in the first two months.
