needs better quality seating washers
Good quality hinges and easy to fit.The washers provided did not secure the seat to the pan and it kept sliding around despite being refitted several times.I then used the old washers and that sorted the problem out. So all I can surmise is that this problem is caused by the type of material used in the manufacture of the seating washers used to cushion the hinges to the pan.The old ones were of a different material and did the job properly and so I can only rate at 4 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

bought these to replace a pair I had for 6 years looking at the chrome finish on the new ones it might as well not be there ,that's not to say they don't do the job but I doubt they will last a year before they look terrible still what do you expect for a fiver best fit s/s next time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good quality hinges cheaper than new seat!
Ideal to replace corroded ones cheaper than buying a new seat and will do a fine job! Fixings needed new holes drilled in resin seat, recommend carefully using suitable sized drill bit and I used original screws as these were better for a resin seat than those supplied which would be perfectly adequate for wooden seats.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Nice quality,but not really universal

I think the stainless steel claim is a bit misleading as the fitting is chrome plated. It does the job but doesn't look much better than the fitting it replaced which corroded after 3 years. I suspect I will have to replace it again in 3 years time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
