The Dyson V6 Absolute is a cordless vacuum cleaner that uses no bags and is suited for cleaning all kinds of floors and hard to reach areas thanks to its changeable head and removable wand. It provides a bin volume of 0.4 l and suction power of 28 AW in normal mode. The docking station is used for charging and storing the Dyson V6 Absolute, which will run for approximately 20 minutes in normal mode when fully charged for 3.5 hours.

Loving the DCO6 Absolute
Since buying this vac I have vacuumed my carpets most days because it’s so easy to do so. The unit is lightweight but packs a punch in picking up debris off the carpet, including cat hair. It needs emptying very often, and I regularly have to use my fingers to drag some of the rubbish out, but it isn’t much of an issue. The only real downside is the handle/operating switch configuration - after the first use I had a sore on my lower thumb joint where it had rubbed, so I now have to hold it differently. This is why I gave it 4 stars and not 5! Overall I love it and I can’t see me going my back to lugging around my corded cylinder vac again any time soon.

Overall its good, Suction is enough for home usage. Light weight. enjoying vaccuming. Emptying is challenging , One has to take the bin box out and fix it. It is not a smooth process , takes some time. Your hands would sure get dirty while cleaning it. Not sure, if it is Safe for Asthma patients to empty it. It is Absolute the high end model , Still The fluffy attachment is not provided. It seems the fluffy attachment is best for hard surfaces. Only 1 year Guarantee with Refurbished ones , but 2 years with new ones. One may think... Screws (for wall hanging) are not provided.

Great machine
I'm really impressed with this vacuum, it's lightweight easy to use and comes with a great range of arrachments to clean everywhere. Cleaning the stairs is so easy without having to struggle with the corded machine and the hard floor attachment is perfect for tiles and wooden floors. The battery life gives plenty of time to clean the rooms I want to do and it's so easy to quickly clean high traffic areas daily. The collection bin is quite small and needs to be emptied frequently but emptying is quite easy and being used to using Dyson machines I don't find it a problem. I'm so glad I bought this model and the price is good too!

Time will tell
I already have a bought brand new full price version which I love, even though, sadly, it came without instructions. I have difficulty carrying vacuum cleaners around my house, especially up stairs. I wanted to keep this one on the first floor of my largish house. It appears to be really powerful. It arrived fully charged. Only after using an item for some time can you really be sure if you have a good item or not. Most machines start off being impressive. They are only value for money if they stay impressive. Early appraisals/reviews are usually positive, but are no true indication of performance after some time . Ask me again in 18 months. I am, however, optimistic about this vacuum. Of course it may fail quickly. It has a one year guarantee which is very reassuring.

easy to use but battery life could be better
Easy to use (kids love to use it!). Head goes nicely under furniture and i find it gets to edges better than our Miele cylinder vacuum, which we are now considering getting rid of. Main downside since getting it a few weeks ago is the battery life; the 1st time used it after charging I got almost the whole of the main part of house done but now I am getting maximum 2 rooms. If start getting less than that then I will be contacting Dyson to complain.

I was reluctant to place my order, but after seeing all the great reviews, I thought I would give it a go. I am very glad I did, this Vacuum seems brand new! I cannot fault it at all. Absolutely brilliant machine, really powerful and picks up so much more than meets the eye! I would highly recommend this to everyone. I also received my Vacuum the very next day. I wouldn't want any other vacuum. Best!

Amazing!
Having been using a Hetty vac for years & finding myself cursing it a lot! I decided to take the plunge & invest in the Dyson v6... I find it's nicely made, the fittings lock in so don't flop off all the time. sucks really well, I've not found the need for the extra suck button! one thing people don't tend to mention in reviews is that it sounds good! A kind of undulating warble while cleaning with the full length arm... and a nice sounding motor on start up & when letting go of the trigger 😉 well I appreciate it anyway! I now look forward to using it lots! I can't see the novelty wearing off as I'm just like that. Interestingly I found i used it differently to an old fashioned cylinder vac - meaning, I only switch it on while in position for cleaning... as it's in a trigger, you save energy while 're positioning yourself as opposed to having it running the whole time. emptying is easy as the lid kind of drops out forcefully & most of the dust just falls out. I find it satisfying to see what's been collected - what night look like a clean floor, you'll be amazed how much it still sucks up! I'm looking at getting extra fittings though as I prefer the Hetty style round brush as I do a lot of dusting with it over music gear & nick nacks. I really wish it would indicate how much battery is left, though it's ok simply paying attention to the time and getting to know how long the battery lasts. weirdly because the way it's designed I find cleaning is way quicker with this machine, which is really good... it only takes me under ten minutes to whiz around downstairs in my house... on stairs it's a dream, in fact it's a dream everywhere in the house... my biggest gripe would be how long the battery lasts! I mean, it's easy to work around it lasting 20 mins or so.... but having used cordless power tools at work, I'm wondering why they don't use a bigger capacity battery like the 5ah batteries on the newer Makita tools??? But at least with a smaller battery it is lighter to use. Man! I love this thing! I live in a shared house, I'm the only one who ever cleans anything, because this vac is so nice to use I find I'm not as resentful doing it, if you consider how frustrating my situation can be... simply no regrets since buying it & I'm recommending it to all my friends & family...

Handy,powerful and portable
I find the Dyson v6 absolute very easy to use, making the cleaning of my bungalow a doddle. It does what it says on the box. It is definitely better than my corded Dyson for cleaning the carpets.

Easy, Light and Effective.
Well, aside from it arriving in a black box (for refurbished units), you would never have guessed that it was refurbished at all. Clean throughout, Fitting the tools to the unit is foolproof - they only click together one way and have a button release. Fresh out of the box and tools attached, I used what little charge there was (presumably for testing after refurbishment) on the living room carpet. A friend called round and she noticed the difference in the carpet straight away. It hasn't looked so clean for a long time. Since tripping over cables has become a problem it seemed a cordless would be the solution. Honestly, I should have bought one well before now. Not only is the unit so easy to use, it's powerful. The amount of dust it sucks up is incredible. In fact, it's so effective that vacuuming the carpets is faster now - the whole house is done well within one charge. I haven't used the wall bracket for it because of my lack of a power socket in an appropriate area, but the pipe is stored in a corner with the box of tools and the unit is on a shelf above it. It's so easy, even for quick pick-ups. There's a tool for hard flooring as well, and a crevice tool and brush. One of my better buys, I'd say.

Great hand held vacuum
Our family have now bought three of these, all refurbished but you wouldn't know they look brand new. vacuuming is a breeze , no heavy vac to push around and the performance is just like a normal one. Interchanging tools is easy with tools for every surface. I Was surprised at how well it picks up dog hairs as well as day to day dirt, the 20 minute use time is enough to whip through the house then back into its charging station for the next time. Also very good for cleaning the car, no messy cables and tubes to drag about. I recommend this product base on my personal satisfaction and that of other family members,
