Great starter set for serious golfer
I used to golf in college and have golfed sporadically through the years. Recently, I decided to return and needed a new set of clubs (the old ones actually had wooden shafts!). I found these on Ebay and they turned out to be ideal, giving me every club, iron and putter I'd need for an adequate game and get back into the swing. The bag comes with its own stand and has a pocket for everything - shoes, balls, tees, umbrella and even a brewski or two. The set is lightweight, the irons balanced, the staffs sturdy. The two large clubs - a one and a three wood - have nice embroidered covers. You can use the handle or put it on your back with duo-shoulder straps like a backpack. I detected no cheapness or poor craftsmanship. I was able to use all of them on the driving range right out of the bag. Is Callaway ashamed to put their name on the Strata set?
I was disappointed that there is not any Callaway logo or labeling on either the bag or the clubs. It appears to be a generic brand of golf clubs. When you buy Callaway clubs, one would expect the set to be able to be easily identified as a brand name set. Especially Callaway. It is like they are embarrassed to associate with the Strata set. I have never seen a set of Callaway clubs that didn't have their name stamped on every club head and grip, until now.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Very nice, light weight clubs!
Although sets of clubs have changed since I bought my first set. These were for my son's birthday and he was thrilled with them. They are light and easy to swing, the bag is well constructed with plenty of pockets. The putter in the picture was a little different then the one received, but it was still a good putter. I'm gonna give him one of my 3 or 4 irons, There's a lot of trees around here and a flatter faced club is how I learned to punch it out and down the fairway. I have to say it is a nice set, this coming from a guy who never used a Hybrid wood, but carry a Wooden Driver, and 3, 5, 7 & 9 metal fairway woods.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Lightweight with nice control right out of the box
Good Base beginner set. Pretty easy to use. I still need alot of practise though. lightweight clubs and bag make it very easy to carry around the course. Any chance you can sell me a replacement pitching wedge? Nice starter set
I have only been playing golf for a few months and I started playing much better after I got these clubs. The bag is very nice as well with the stand.
