    One issue

I have one issue with the sound bomb and that's with the mounting point on the product, it's not quite big enough for the nut to stay in properly when tightened. So I had to file the slot to lengthen it so the nut stayed located, I'm still not too confident about the strength of the mounting point so I have tethered it with a metal cable tie for security

Nowhere near as loud as they say

This is a reasonably easy to fit horn though it does not come near the volume it is rated at, and i did test it with an accurate meter. It is very voltage sensitive so be careful of voltage loss through wiring and earthing. I tested the sound with 660 CCA battery and it still was not the volume stated.

This makes a great noise. Remember to buy the electrical installation kit (about £20) and the fly lead (about £15) to enable attachment to the Bmw wiring loom. I made my own bracket. The sound bomb attaches using a shoulder bolt. To help secure it I fitted a crinkle washer between it and the bracket which meant it couldn’t move. I also tie wrapped the bomb because I don’t want it to foul the folks if it did detach. Please see the photos. The cable routes on the left under the rear tank cover attachment, there is just enough space.

  • Excellent Product - Very Smart and Very Loud

Great Product. Excellent finish. Blends in against the black engine - virtually invisible. Could be a little bulky for a solo but for the outfit it is fine. Oh and its very loud.

  • On its own fantastic but mount and wiring make it pricey

As a ‘compact’ air horn it is loud and clear - a vast improvement over the stock horn. On its own It is good value and very good quality - solid, but if you choose to pair it up with a bike specific mount at around £30 and the wiring loom £20+ the complete package is pricey for a horn. The method of mounting the horn requires a solid bracket with an 8mm hole and depending on where you can mount it the connections can be exposed to the elements.

  • Denali Soundbomb

On my last bike I went for the baby brother of this bad boy, as it was a straightforward swap out for the puny OE horn. It was louder, but not as loud as I expected, so this time I went for the Soundbomb. This is the mutts nuts for those occasions when you need to use it. You see people jump and respond, rather than simply hear and ignore. My mechanic did a good job of installing it behind the fairing on my new bike, so it is as good as invisible. Still sounds loud, though. It makes people respond. Good investment. Treat yourself - it could save your life.

  • Sounds like King Kong gettin a Bikini wax.

Great job, easy to fit and clear fitting instructions. Simple and robust construction. I checked out youtube reviews & all of them were positive which was a deciding factor in my purchase. I will be purchasing ones for my other bikes too. An excellent upgrade.

  • Be safe be heard.

Just note does not come with any brackets. Installed where original horn was. Ordered separately the wiring kit. Very easy to set up with basic tools and have a ratchet crimper is best for connecting wires to connectors for relay and horn. Wiring kit also has the 20 amp fuse carrier .

  • It's a blast

Wow this thing is like a train horn...definitely a great upgrade to my original Beeb Beeb horn. All motorbikes should have one. Get the fitting kit as it makes it such an easy job. Brilliant .
