A pro level camera
I purchase this camera for it's low light capabilities. It can literally see in the dark. it focuses quick and sure. At times I'm think its not able to focus when it has already locked focus. This is because I was use to the slower focusing of the Nikon D800. This is a pro level camera in build and performance. All I need to do is put some good glass on it and it performs. The photo included was a quick snap on a very overcast day beneath some very tall trees. Nothing was done to the image, it was a jpeg capture with the picture control set to vivid. Anyway, I have been very pleased with this purchase. The camera is very responsive and it fun to use. The only con is the camera is heavy and very big which is great for me, but not so great if you have small hands. I like a camera with heft and this camera suits me fine. I looked at the D4s and the D3s also, but I decide to go with this for the price I couldn't resist. It's just a little better than the D3s and the D4s is incrementally a little better, but this had a low shutter count and a good price. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Welcome to the second hand camera of your dreams...
With my Tax return hot in hand I said screw the kids and Disneyland. Daddy needs a new camera this year. My D80 has been trusty but no video and DX has been putting me off for a bit. The meter also sucks too on the D80 but I never use anything but manual. I could have gone with the D810 for the money but this camera makes it look like a toy. When you hold this beast in your hand and snap off a few frames you will understand. It's balance is very nice. When you put a lens and a flash on it, its huge. Buy it now!!!!!!!!!
