Probably the best drum machine for the price...
Although the Alesis SR 16 is quite old tech compared to some of the modern machines, it is still regarded by many as the industry standard for home recording and studio use. With 'real' drum sounds, programmed by actual drummers and many, many presets that sound very professional when played through a pa system, this little machine is great fro both home recording and also for live performances, where the rhythms can be triggered by a supplementary foot switch plugged in to the back of the machine and provide extremely realistic and high quality drum sounds to complement your own playing.
