Excellent device for people with diabetes
I ordered this product after my foot became completely numb when I had a minor accident. I suffer from diabetes type-2 and had been warned by my specialist to immediately go to A&E if I had any numbness, pins & needles, cold spots, or hot spots, to my feet. He told me that any of these issues may indicate a restricted blood flow situation, and if I fail to get this checked I could be risking amputation of my foot after as little as a couple of hours. I reported to A&E at 01:30am and at 05:30am I departed having not been seen by anybody to go and see my GP. My GP tested my foot using this same device and suggested that I obtain my own device so that if I have concerns about restricted blood flow to my feet then I can report to A&E with the statement that "My foot is numb, and I have restricted blood flow to that foot - have a look at my doppler machine". Sounds like a first rate idea to me! I would comment that the supplier was very helpful replacing the probe since I mistakenly ordered the 8Mhz probe, and a 4Mhz probe is required for feet.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
