The name fits!!! GROUND POUNDER!!!!!
Closest RC to look,handle and roll over anything in its path! 20 turn motor gives it of the box scale speed and power! The 540 size brushed motor has good low end torque for climbing hills, rocks, and dirt. Out of the box I would say it does a good 20-25 mph. Available hop ups thru Crawford performance engineering. One complaint I hear in other reviews is about the axles. The housing is more of a brittle plastic housing. But don't let this make your decision. I have ran and bashed, mudding, crawling and trail running with it and I have not had to replace any. If you keep this monster truck as a brushed system, you will be fine. Just don't ram into a curb at full speed! Use it as a 1/10 scale REAL monster truck. 4 wheel steer will get u out of tight spots! Durability is very good. It is a well designed kit RTR out of the box, just add 4AA for the TX and a charged battery pack that's included. 2.4ghz. GREAT range! Great in the living room or outdoor pounding the ground. Tires are medium softness, chunky tread for flinging dirt and mud. All ball bearings. Fun for the whole family young and old...I suggest 8 or older. Strong oil filled aluminum capped shocks. Ask seller the year of manufacture and check to see if all electronics including the servo have been updated to the newest electronics. Hobbywing brushed ESC that can use NIMH and lipo's! 40 amp ESC handles 2s lipo's . ESC, and Hexfly 15kg high torque servos also are " waterproof". I would still plastic dip it still. I submerged it in a creek on accident and flipped it upside down. Floated down stream. Grabbed it, shook it and away it went!! No problems.
