This year, as a began to preserve especially the raspberries and blackcurrents that always seem to come from the garden all at once, I also decided to break the habit of just using whatever jars were around and ask myself what I liked. These jars are very stylish, cute and practical. I find the sizes better suited to making jams, jellies and preserves as it avoids having to open a larger quantity for normal use, which might lead to waste.
