Nvidia 6800 Ultra AGP is now as cool as it looks!
This was a really nice cooler to work on, it has a fan wire coming from it that can be connected to a molex if your graphics card has a propitiatory fan connector and glows blue when in operation (Which is useful to see if the card is getting power to the cooler). It wasn't really any trouble getting the cooler onto the card it was all pretty obvious what went where really, although I do have one problem that has nothing to do with this cooler, and that is the backplate supplied with the card has no venting holes on it so I'm going to have to drill some in I think at some point to let the air out. Nether the less it does however keep the card under 65 ° Celsius at full load from what I have noticed while this is in operation under full load. Which is pretty good for this old clunker of a graphics card! To sum up, keeps a Nvidia 6800 Ultra AGP at 65 ° (or lower) celsius under full load!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Fits my Gainward 6800GT AGP card perfect
Fits my Gainward 6800GT AGP card perfect, due to design also drops the case temps considerably, fits most 6/7/8 series boards, but will not fot any of the GS series cards like the 7800GS Due to the 6800GT not having any fan speed control on board i have plugged the fan header in to my MSI Neo2 platinum's chipset fan header, and ive converted the motherboards corecenter software to control the GPU fan speed. Temperatures cannot be monitored on a 6800GT but with my laser temp reader its gone down from 72 to 59c on full load now thats pretty impressive, and as i say inside my desktop case is much cooler from 44 to 36 celcius. I had one of these on my 9600GT years ago it was epic on that GPU as well. This is a good product, BUY ONE!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Made with great style,high quality, with understanding...eg not spilling heated air into computer housing, brilliant presentation and packaging, all parts for fitting enclosed, good instructions, supplying the part that ultimately prematurely fails on the graphics card that the manufacture does not supply as a replacement part (His).....lowered temperature of GPU and especially the computer case by significant I amount most likely ensuring extended longevity of the other computer components also cpu temp dropped a few degrees........this cooler is very similar to the OEM and the expensive one I previously replaced it with after it failed had the problem of spilling and recycling the heated air into the pc .......which this reviewed one completely eliminated and all this a highly competitive price.....highly recommended.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
