Feed The Birds, but not for Tuppence...!
It is not a bad item, reasonable quality, fairly priced and pretty easy to put up. Only down side is when you have to put it into the ground. Not an easy thing to do unless you whack the first pole into the ground first, but in doing this it damages the top of the post for the others to sit in, adn then you have to either cut the damaged part off or try to get the hole back as best as (but is easier to cut the damaged part off). Could do with some sort of plastic or wood protector to place in the top prior to belting it into the ground. Failing that, it could do with putting the first pole into a bucket and cementing around it and then placing that into the ground, which would make it far more sturdier than it actually is......It does wobble a bit when the birds congregate on all the parts......However once it is set up and all other poles inserted and parts are in place, it looks pretty good. I have had mine over year now and it has faded considerably in the first year along with some surface rust, so i shall be giving it a coat of hammerite metal paint and hope it lasts another year or so.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Doesn't fit together
The top part, which has the hangers, does not fit into the pole as it is the same diameter. My son, who is an engineer, says it can't be put together and thinks perhaps parts of two models got mixed up. I wrote to the manufacturer without result. It would be too expensive to return it so I am just using the 2 trays and one hanger that fits round the stem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

A bargain bird feeding station
I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this bird feeder when taking into account the price compared to many other bird feeding stations. The poles did need a little packing (duck tape) to improve the fit as they were a little loose. Other than that it was very easy to assemble, with the bonus that all but the top 2 hangers can be placed anywhere on the pole. This is the second one of these we have bought, it makes feeding the birds very easy and with all the hangers and trays on it. Our garden is now alive with many different birds, also the structures look good. Good value for cost.
The feeder spike needs to be driven quite a way into the soil otherwise it tends to lean or even fall over. The three branches which come off the upright have a tendency to swivel when used by larger birds (crows, rooks, etc). The feeding tray is easy to remove and clean/fill but I find the water tray is more awkward. Just needs an extra support to stop it wobbling around
Cant complain for value for money - but it does need something else to stop it spinning around - the more expensive ones have a second spike to give some rigidity. This item was quick and easy to assemble. Although it came with a water tray and a feed tray I needed to buy the feeders to hang on the hooks that were supplied, it looks good in the garden but, so far the only bird that I've seen feeding was a pidgeon. ok but needs sturdier stake
Great in every way except the staking system. Its far too lightweight with the spike it has....and I had to reinforce it by adding a much longer and sturdier pole going further into the ground to makke it stable once loaded with the weight of feeders and seed etc. ,It was wobbling even without anything on it until I reinfonced it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
